TMS05
Crawler Drilling Machine
Thousands of newton-metres at crawl speed — how the TMS05 radial piston motor drives the rotary head of a tracked drill rig without torque ripple.

The rotary head is where orbital motors reach their limit: drilling torque demands run into thousands of newton-metres at just a few r/min, sustained for hours. This is radial piston territory.
Motor roles in this machine
- TMS05 — rotary head drive: 400–700 ml/r sphere-piston displacement delivers smooth, high continuous torque from 2 r/min — the bit keeps cutting evenly even as rock hardness changes. TMS05 reference →
- Radial load capacity: The TMS bearing arrangement takes the side loads fed back from the drill string without a separate support bearing.
