TMS05
Road Header
Material gathering at 2–15 r/min under extreme continuous load — how matched TMS radial piston pairs drive the star wheels and scraper conveyor of a road header.

Behind the cutting head, two star wheels gather broken rock and a scraper conveyor carries it away — four drives running at 2–15 r/min under abrasive, uneven load, deep in hard-rock tunnelling duty.
Motor roles in this machine
- 2× TMS — star wheel drives (left / right): Matched sphere-piston motors keep both gathering arms synchronized at crawl speed regardless of rock size hitting each side. TMS05 reference →
- 2× TMS — scraper conveyor drives: Continuous low-speed torque moves material out at a constant rate even when the chain digs into a surge of muck.
