Saw Chain Attachment
Chain speed from hydraulic flow — how the BGM2 radial piston motor drives a saw chain attachment for cutting timber and demolition material.

A hydraulic saw chain needs high, steady chain speed with instant torque recovery — every knot and hard spot tries to stall the chain, and a speed dip means a jammed cut.
Motor roles in this machine
- BGM2 — chain drive: Compact radial piston motor delivers the speed-torque balance chain cutting requires, in a housing small enough to sit beside the bar.
- Stall-and-recover: When the chain binds, the motor stalls hydraulically without damage and resumes at full speed the moment the cut clears.
