Keeping concrete moving in the hopper while the boom swings — how the BMH reinforced motor and ZCM3 transmission serve a concrete pump truck.

If the hopper agitator stops, concrete begins to set in the machine. The agitator motor works immersed in aggregate, under constant radial load, and simply cannot be the weak link of the pour.
Motor roles in this machine
- BMH — hopper agitator drive: Reinforced housing and bearings sustain the radial loads of paddling wet concrete continuously — 425–720 N·m at hopper speed. BMH reference →
- ZCM3 — turret slew drive: Integrated motor + gearbox + fail-safe brake positions the boom and holds it under load. ZCM reference →
