BDASS
Dump Truck
Constant steering effort under a full payload — how the BDAS5 full-hydraulic steering unit keeps a site dump truck controllable on haul roads.

A site dump truck steers hardest exactly when precision matters most — fully loaded, on soft or rutted haul roads. Mechanical linkages transmit every impact back to the operator; a full-hydraulic unit does not.
Motor roles in this machine
- BDAS5 — steering unit: Rotary valve + rotary meter deliver flow to the steering cylinder in exact proportion to steering wheel input — constant effort loaded or empty. BDASS reference →
- Kickback isolation: With no mechanical link between wheel and axle, rut and rock impacts are absorbed hydraulically instead of reaching the operator’s hands.
Shock and check valve options protect the circuit on rough terrain. For sizing details or datasheets, contact our engineers.
