Mining Monorail II
Distributed traction along the train — a second mining monorail configuration using multiple TMS05 wheel motors for steep-gradient haulage.

On steeper galleries, a single drive unit runs out of adhesion. The answer is distributed traction: multiple drive bogies along the train, each with its own motors, sharing the load on the rail.
Motor roles in this machine
- TMS05 — distributed wheel drives: Multiple wheel-type motors along the consist share tractive effort evenly — hydraulic load-sharing keeps every wheel pulling without electronic synchronization. TMS05 reference →
- Gradient holding: Brake-module options on each drive hold the loaded train on the steepest sections of the route.
