ZDM Normally-Closed Hydraulic Disc Brake
Spring-applied, pressure-released — the bolt-on load-holding brake for cycloid motors. Specify ZDM when the load must hold position without continuous hydraulic pressure.
ZDM combines friction plates with a high-strength spring pack: the spring applies the brake, external working pressure releases it. Power off, oil off — the load stays put.
Designed for static braking with low noise and high reliability, it bolts directly onto BM-series orbit motors. Field example: furniture ladder trucks pair BMR drive motors with ZDM3 to hold the platform at height.
Suitable for construction, handling, and agricultural machinery wherever position holding is mandatory.
