A loaded platform climbing a ladder up a building facade — how the BMR orbital motor drives it and the ZDM3 disc brake guarantees it never slides back.

A furniture lift sends a loaded platform up an inclined ladder to an apartment window several floors up. The physics is unforgiving: if the drive lets go, the platform comes straight back down.
Motor roles in this machine
- BMR — platform drive: Orbital motor winds the platform up and down the ladder at controlled speed, metering descent smoothly with the load. BMR reference →
- ZDM3 — holding brake: Spring-applied, normally-closed disc brake (1,150 N·m) clamps the drive automatically whenever pressure is absent — the platform parks itself. ZDM reference →
